This September, Tysons Mixed Market returns to The Boro with four evenings celebrating the creativity, culture, and energy of Tysons. Presented by Tysons Community Alliance (TCA) in partnership with The Boro, this market brings together local artisans, makers, vintage collectors, food vendors, and small businesses – plus live music, entertainment, giveaways, wellness activities, and more.

The Tysons Mixed Market is about supporting local supporting local, celebrating culture, and creating connections. This year, we’ll also celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with special programming, community partners, and wellness experiences designed to bring people together to shop, connect, and move.

Event Details:

Dates: Every Thursday in September 2026 — September 3, 10, 17 & 24
Hours: 4–8 PM (free fitness classes from 6–7 PM)
Location: The Boro Tysons, 8350 Broad St., Tysons, VA 22102
Admission: Free and open to the public

  • September 24: Free Cardio Dance & Strength classes hosted by Normywell (Registration required. Register here)

September 17 and 24: Fairfax County Animal Services Adoptable Dogs Meet-and-Greet
On the final two Tysons Mixed Market events, Fairfax County Animal Services will bring adoptable dogs onsite for meet‑and‑greets and same‑day adoptions. Adoption fees will be waived at the event, and new families can head home with starter supplies to help their pup settle in.

Staff will be available to chat, answer questions, and help visitors connect with the right dog. Check the Fairfax County Animal Services social media accounts for a preview of which pups are expected to attend!

The Tysons Mixed Market is a summer weekly outdoor marketplace that brings together local artisans, makers, food vendors, and neighbors for a lively, place-based community experience. Anchored at Tysons’ open space in partnership with Tysons’ property owners, the market encourages community engagement, supports local entrepreneurship, and contributes to the evolving placemaking fabric of Tysons.

With dozens of local vendors and over 600 visitors per market day, the event reflects placemaking in action: activating underused space, enhancing street life, strengthening community ties, and supporting local economic activity. By encouraging people to linger, interact, and explore, the Mixed Market contributes to the walkable, mixed-use character envisioned for Tysons’s urban future.
