Powered by Northern Virginia-based The A-List of Entertainment, 4th and 43, Lerner, and Tysons Community Alliance (TCA), the daylong festival commemorated the 50th anniversary of go-go music, Washington, D.C.’s official homegrown genre. The event featured performances from legendary artists including Rare Essence, Junkyard Band, and other celebrated performers who helped create an unforgettable experience for attendees from across the DMV and beyond.

Beyond the music, the festival demonstrated the growing role of Tysons as a destination for large-scale cultural events and their positive economic impact on the community. Thousands of visitors traveled to Tysons to attend the concert, generating increased activity for nearby restaurants, retailers, hotels, on-site vendors, and businesses while introducing new audiences to the area’s evolving arts and entertainment scene.

In collaboration with Baltimore’s legendary Globe Collection and Press, TCA designed limited-edition “Go-Go 50” t-shirts and screen-printed posters honoring one of the region’s most influential musical traditions.
