Tysons Trek & Treat: Spring Edition
May 1–29 | Throughout Tysons
Tysons Trek & Treat is back—just in time for Bike Month! Explore Tysons by bike all month long with this self-guided challenge. Tysons Trek & Treat invites participants to visit destinations across Tysons, track their progress, and have a chance to win big prizes like a Velotric Fold One Plus e-bike and Experience Tysons gift cards along the way. No matter if you’re riding solo or with friends and family, the challenge is a flexible way to discover new places, support local businesses in our district, and make biking part of your everyday routine. Bike to Work Day: TCA Pit Stop at Valo Park
Friday, May 15 | 7-9:30 AM | Valo Park (7950 Jones Branch Dr.)
Join thousands of riders across the region for the 2026 Bike to Work Day (BTWD) and stop by TCA’s pit stop at Valo Park along the way! Organized by Commuter Connections and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA), this free annual event celebrates a healthier and more sustainable way to get to work. Riders will enjoy giveaways and refreshments en route.
You can also check out one of Tysons’ other BTWD pit stops throughout the day at Mitre, The Boro, Tysons Corner Center, and Capital One Center. Be sure to register in advance!
Transportation Open House

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the TCA Transportation Open House at the Archer Hotel Tysons! We were proud to welcome residents, commuters, employers, and regional stakeholders for an evening focused on the future of mobility in Tysons. Attendees connected with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT), Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), and Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) and regional partners to learn more about transportation improvements, transit enhancements, trail connections, multimodal planning efforts, and projects shaping how people move throughout the district.
