Katie Cristol

Chief Executive Officer

Katie is the Chief Executive Officer at the TCA, where she leads our dynamic staff team to deliver on our strategic plan goals and annual work program initiatives; supports our Board of Directors in achieving our mission and vision; and represents and advocates for the Tysons community across the region and beyond.

Prior to joining the TCA, Katie served eight years in local elected office in Arlington County, focusing on housing, transit and inclusive development. Katie has been recognized with awards from the Virginia Transit Association and Equality NoVA and named a “Northern Virginia Visionary” by the Greater Washington Clean Cities Coalition and one of the “100 People to Meet in Business” by Virginia Business Magazine.

She is inspired to work for the TCA, which sits at the intersection of everything: Where public sector meets private sector, and where taking creative risk meets measuring our impact. Where our streets intersect with public spaces and our built environment, and where our residents, employees and visitors all come together as teammates.

Favorite thing(s) about Tysons: Watching kids play in the splash pad at the Boro; the seasonal drinks at Basecamp Coffee Roasters.
