Fairfax supervisors set rules, rights of e-scooter riders
Electric scooters and other shared-mobility devices will be allowed in Fairfax County starting next January, under an ordinance unanimously approved Nov. 19 by the Board of Supervisors.
There are now rules for how dockless scooters, bicycles, and other “shared mobility devices” can operate in Fairfax County.
The opening of the Silver Line extension could come as soon as September if all things go according to plan, Metro officials said.
Tysons Corner Center started out with a handful of anchor stores and a few dozen assorted storefronts. But over the past 51 years, the property has reinvented itself into a launchpad for big-name brands.
