TEDx event envisions future of Tysons
On June 3, the TEGNA/Gannett headquarters was home to Future Tense, the first ever TEDx Tysons event. It was centered around a single question: How will Tysons emerge not only as the area’s intellectual, cultural, and technological powerhouse, but also as a cohesive, livable community?
New beer gardens pop up across the Washington area
Tysons Biergarten is more than just a beer garden – there are three floors of indoor restaurant and bar space – but most of the attention is going to be on the 5,000 square feet of outdoor space, a family- and dog-friendly mix of grass and pavement covered with picnic tables, corn hole sets and a stage-like area for cover bands and solo musicians.
