Storytime Brought to Life!

Tysons Community Alliance, 1st Stage, and Friends of Tysons- Pimmit Library are thrilled to announce that Storytime Brought to Life is returning for its third season. The interactive reading experience was piloted last spring and was a resounding success, with over 90 children and parents participating over three weeks.
The new season will launch on January 18 and will take place one Saturday a month from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. in the theatre at 1st Stage. The first dates and books include:
- Saturday, January 18 – J is for Justice by Nekima Levy Armstrong and Illustrated by Tiffany Baker
- Saturday, February 22 – Have You Thanked an Inventor Today? by Patrice McLaurin and Illustrated by Dian Wang
- Saturday, March 22 – This Little Trailblazer: A Girl Power Primer by Joan Holub and Illustrated by Daniel Roode
- Saturday, April 26 – J is for Jazz by Ann Ingalls and illustrated by Maria Corte Maidagan
- Saturday, May 17 – Astronaut Handbook by Meghan McCarthy
In addition to reading along with a trained learning and engagement facilitator, children will have the opportunity to engage in a fun interactive activity that corresponds with the book. Each child will also receive a snack, a copy of the book, and a group photo with the facilitator. The event is free and open to all children ages four through eight and their parents. Space is limited, so registration is encouraged.
