Tysons Community Alliance’s Housing Committee would like to invite you to Accessing Attainable Housing in Tysons: An Interactive Workshop. Whether someone is a teacher, first responder, or service worker, it can be difficult to afford to live in Tysons. This highly anticipated event is designed to delve into the challenges many people face in accessing affordable and workforce housing in our community, as well as highlight their voices. The program will include a report out by TCA CEO Katie Cristol on what the Tysons Market Study shows regarding the need for affordable housing; remarks by Supervisor Dalia Palchik and Supervisor Walter Alcorn on how Tysons can meet Fairfax County’s housing goals; a panel discussion titled Workforce Housing in Tysons in the Age of Improving Work-Life Balance; a video presentation titled Housing Stories from Real People; and an interactive game called Can I Afford to Live in Tysons?
