SUMMARY:When Seasons Bloom
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the ancient wisdom of the 24 Chinese Solar Terms\,
this dance showcase unfolds the ever-turning cycle of life through the pas
sing of the four seasons. As ethereal spirits of Spring\, Summer\, Autumn\
, and Winter entrust one another with the care of the natural world\, Chin
ese classical and folk dances bring to life the imagery and quiet magic wo
ven into the rhythms of nature. Step into a realm where beauty and traditi
on meet\, and every season tells a story of renewal.\n\nOur family-friendl
y production features restaged award-winning repertoire along with origina
l choreography performed by the students of Xuejuan Dance Ensemble. The ex
pected runtime for this event is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes\, inc
luding a 10-minute intermission. Greater Washington Chinese Dance was esta
blished in 2022 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the aim of bri
nging the art of Chinese dance to diverse audiences in America. For more i
 nformation\, please visit gwcd.dance.
