Why do Asians use honorifics? Do you like Asian dramas? How about K-Pop? Have you ever wondered why Asians look younger than their age? Why are anime and manga so popular? What is the tea ceremony? Want to learn some martial arts moves? How about growing up Asian? Let’s talk about these topics, along with Asian mythology and folklore as part of the educational programming at the Asian Summer Festival! The festival will start with four main Asian cultures – Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Filipino, with smaller showcases for other Asian countries, and will include many activities such as cosplay contests, cultural games, language learning, and many more!

The Asian Summer Festival (ASF) is an event that showcases different Asian cultural and traditional practices via educational programming, food, and entertainment.

It is free to the public and will be widely accessible due to its proximity to the Metro and the most popular mall in the region.
